Postscript: L.A was sweltering in the summer, but I enjoyed it regardless. My only regret is that I broke my own promise to myself to “eat more” on this return trip. I did pick up a large bag of pastries from Porto’s (somewhere I will always return to in L.A), and have a delicious chai latte from the Bohemian House of Espresso + Chai in Downtown. But I didn’t eat much, and the places I did eat at weren’t impressive. So, if you live in L.A or you’ve visited and have a favorite spot(s) to eat, leave me a comment to let me know.
