I’ve been to Niagara Falls twice in the past 6 years. The first time I went, I was content to look over the railings and have the mist wash over me. In 2015 though, my excitement to ride the “Maid of the Mist” was almost palpable. So while I was visiting my friend Mofi, I thought it’d be a good idea for us to drive up to Niagara Falls on three hours of sleep.
Maid of the Mist – This is the name of the ferry that takes passengers as close as possible to the mouth of the falls.
The boat runs every couple of minutes, and sails right up to the mouth of the falls. These plastic raincoats served as protection from the mist that would inevitably fall on us. Although it wasn’t a scorching hot day, the weather was warm enough for me to welcome the cool mist on my face.
The falls are not the only attraction in the area, so after our Maid of the Mist ride, we decided to get touristy.
