Wanderlust Wednesday #11

Hello everyone,

Sending happy mid-week vibes to you wherever you are in the world.

Today’s post format will be a bit different as I’m dreaming of a different kind of trip. The kind that you take with people that rarely get on your nerves. A road trip. Oh, who am I kidding? Chances are, the closest people to you are the ones that really know how to push your buttons; and maybe, just maybe a 7-day road trip along the Pacific Coast will make it all worth it. So grab your favorite button-pushing person and some snacks and go!

I’ve been inspired to do this since I watched Raya + Louis and friends have a blast here. They bought the cutest orange camper van and set out to drive up the west coast. I don’t know how much I’d appreciate all that driving, but the experience as a whole should make up for it.

Route

After quite a bit of research (thanks to californiathroughmylens + moontravelguides for tips) I think I’ll start out with a 7-day trip from Central to Northern California.

Maybe we’ll get to San Fransisco and just keep driving because there is so much more to see. If you’re like me, you’re already trying to figure out when and how this road trip will happen. Maybe sometime next year?
